 Arc Raiders explained

Arc Raiders, a free to play PvPvE extractor shooter, is set in a ruined futuristic world where the Earth is crawling rogue machines known as ARC. You are a Raider - one of scavengers who have been dropped into dangerous zones in order to loot valuable material, complete objectives and survive long enough to escape.

mmoset Arc Raiders have a simple goal: enter, grab what is valuable, then escape alive, if at all possible. Each raid is a unique risk. You will have to deal with hostile players, deadly ARC enemies, harsh terrain, and time constraints on top of all that. If a raider-worthy player dies, all loot that they had will be forfeited, except for any items stored in the Safe Pocket.

Arc Raiders combines third-person action with tactical choices, survival and managing an economic. It's not just a first-shot game, but a game that involves where you'd like to stand, shoot, and where you'd like to go next, into a new raid cycle, or back to Speranza to rebuild your Arc Raider.

If you're new to Arc Raiders then expect a mixture of chaos, stealth and strategy. Watch your stamina and pick your battles. Also, learn the maps.

 Arc Raiders Tactics

Arc Raiders revolves around survival. You don't have to win every battle to get your loot. This means that tactics are more important than killings, particularly for new players.

Plan your route in advance. Plan your route, know what you plan to loot and where you will extract. If you don't have a plan, you may find yourself in a tight spot or running out of time. Keep a backup extract on hand.

Avoid loud fighting unless absolutely necessary. Gunfire attracts the attention of ARC machines and enemy Raiders. You can either let others fight or just clean up afterward. Direct combat is usually safer than third-partying.

Use sound as a tool. All of these actions make noise: sprinting, looting and reloading. You can hide by crouching, closing doors and walking slowly. You can get free information by listening for footsteps, drones and alarms.

Stick together if you're in a group. Do not clump together, but do not wander away either. Share medications, alert teammates to threats and quickly revive them. A coordinated trio is always better than a solo player or a disorganized group.

When playing alone, keep low and move quickly. You may not be able to outgun your opponents, but you will certainly outsmart them. Use smoke or gadgets as escape devices, and don't stay in the same place for too long.

Know when to leave. Get out if your bag is full, or if the timer is ticking. Raiders often lose their loot by pushing themselves deeper into danger to get "just one more chest".  Arc Raiders team play tips

Arc Raiders gives you an advantage if you go in as a team, but you must work together. It's not just about staying close. Communication, coordination and covering blind spots are key.

Early on, share roles. Decide who will carry extra medicine, who will have heavy weapons and who will use gadgets such as smoke or barricades before the drop. Balanced squads are more likely to survive.

Ping everything. The ping wheel can be used to indicate enemies, loot or points. It also allows you to say "go there" if voice chat is not available. Fast communication wins fights.

Keep a close distance, but do not get too close. Stay within the range of a revive, but spread out enough to prevent grenades or crossfire. Splitting too much is not recommended unless you have a specific plan in mind (such as flanking or luring ARC bots).

While looting, cover each other. One person should check the container while the other is watching the door. Ambushes are often caused by people diving into the same loot.

Rotate and extract together. If one player is greedy or wanders, the entire squad could lose. Make decisions quickly, move as a team, and decide when to leave. No solo heroes.

Play smart and get rid of your teammates who are down. The downed teammate isn't a dead weight. He can still ping or hear footsteps. Support him, revive him when you can or smoke in order to slow down.

Don't waste gear. Share your gear. Share ammo or meds with a teammate who is running low. There are more than two players who are behind and one player in full gear.

 Arc Raiders Solo Play Tips

Arc Raiders Solo is risky, but well worth it. You can play faster, more discreetly, and at your own pace. Please don't test our patience. You're done if you make a bad decision.

Keep your distance. Always crouch down, even if you're indoors or near combat zones. Do not make any loud noises or run unless you are absolutely certain that no one is around. The more quiet you are, you will survive longer.

Avoid direct PvP. In most one-on-1 situations, you have less chance of winning if you are fighting alone. Then, after the gangs have fought each other, you can go in and take out any leftovers. Trading rounds are less effective than third-partying, flanking, or a combination of both.

Mobility equipment is important. You will save your life with smoke grenades, ziplines and decoys. Use them to escape from a dangerous situation or disrupt the line-of-sight. A smoke grenade can save your life, and ensure that you are not killed.

Always use cover. Never stand still in an open space. Always look for cover from cover, and have a plan of escape. If you are noticed, move quickly and don't stay stuck in a losing battle.

Play fast, but loot smartly. Avoid greediness. Take only what you need, check your map, and start rotating early. If you die on your way out, bungled packs are worthless.

Be on the lookout for squads. If you see multiple steps and insane fire, then it's a squad. You can move around, hide under cover or ambush the squad from a better position. Never directly engage a squad unless you are able to surprise them.

 Arc Raiders Gear Progression Guide

Gear is the key to winning at Arc Raiders. You'll have a better chance of winning with better guns, shields and gadgets. Smart gear management is more important than just getting the shiny loot.

Use your best gear. Do not hoard epic weapons for "later". If you don't use them in raids, then they are just decorations. Bring strong gear to tough zones. More firepower equals better survival odds

Always carry two guns. Mixing long-range with close-range weapons will cover more situations. You'll be happy to have a backup if your primary weapon runs out of ammunition in the middle of a fight.

Watch items' durability. The shields and weapons in Arc Raiders will degrade over time. Before deploying, check their condition. Raids can be ruined by a broken gun during a firefight. Between runs, repair your workbench.

Always carry a shield with you. A shield of any kind is a great way to protect your character from harm in combat. Shields will only slow down enemy projectiles that are heavier.

Use the Safe Pocket. Even after death, all loot stored in your safe will be preserved. You stumble upon a great mod keycard. It's best to put it in the safe pocket. The free loot slots does not have access to this item.

Build your own consumables. Use your base between missions to build equipment, ammo and grenades. Buy benches in advance so you can avoid relying on loot for benches.

You can improve your cache. You will have a limited amount of space at first. You should always increase your inventory to allow you to accumulate more loot in later levels. We can help you run Arc Raiders more smoothly and expand your Stash slots. Contact us to enjoy the game at its fullest.

Arc Raiders' progression is gear-based and steady. You don't need to level up in order to become stronger. You just have to survive, collect, and gradually build your gear. Your stash will grow quickly if you buy the best stuff and manage your risks.
